Salaam, Do you know how long it would take to complete the entire curriculum

What can be studied in the Mahdhara is not clearly defined or limited. People came to study the Muwatta with shaykh Bah, who is a Muhaddith and a mufassir as well!

I'd say 5 years would give someone a good understanding of Islam and its different sciences. And Allah knows best.

Assalaamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullah

I want to study in your Mahdara everything except Fiqh and Aqidah because i live in a country where most people are hanafi. Is that possible ? I would love to learn and study with the sheikhs ???

If it is possible how can i come to the Mahdara, are there study fees?

Anonyme a dit…

Yes you can study whatever you need or want and leave what you don't want. There are no fees but you will be responsible for your living costs.

Assalamuh alaykum,

I am an American convert to Islam of many years.
Many years ago when I was young I attended 10 years of Roman Catholic schools and was going to become a Roman Catholic priest but I decided not to when I was going to start my seminary studies for priesthood.

I speak or read no Arabic. I want to study classical Arabic and Quran and Ensha'Allah perhaps more ares of Islam.

I have the opportunity to first study Arabic in Morocco at least 8 hours per day 7 days a week. I am very motivated and crave the ability to read and comprehend the Quran in Arabic!
Is it possible to go to Mauritania to study Arabic and Quran after a year of study in Morocco or do I need more study in Morocco before going to Mauritania?
